There is little doubt that the economic environment remains very challenging and is likely to stay that way for much of the next 12 months. As a result business conditions are increasingly competitive as customers look for exceptional value for money in terms of price, product and after sales service.

Against that backdrop Dataquest are proud to announce record earnings for the past year due in most part because we work tirelessly with our customers to bring them innovative solutions which meet their challenging economic criteria. And we concentrate relentlessly on providing a quality of service that some might argue is best in class.

The Board are determined to build on these successes over the next year and beyond by continuing to partner closely with our customers, to develop further the quality of our after sales service and to grow a number of specific areas of the business. The Board’s preference is to implement these plans organically but they have not ruled out acquisitions where these bring market share and expertise at a sensible price.

The Board wishes to thank Dataquest’s customers for their continued support of the company, Dataquest’s staff for their tremendous contribution over the past year and Dataquest’s suppliers for working so closely with us to meet customer needs.
